I'm a software engineer and wildlife photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Petaluma, California. I was born in Mazatlán, México and have been working with computers since the late 1990s. Over the years, I've built products, worked across the full stack, co-founded a startup, raised money, and expanded into machine learning and AI.

Since moving to the United States in 2016, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors have become an important part of my life, and photography grew naturally from that shift in attention toward the natural world.

Today, I'm interested in building technology that helps people better understand and interact with the world around them. I work with AI, computer vision, and other machine learning models to turn visual data into useful insights, making information more accessible and actionable. I'm currently building Linkacam, a tool that helps photographers document and learn more about the wildlife they encounter.

I'm fascinated by wildlife and curious about animal behavior and ecosystems, with a special interest in birds, insects, and spiders. I also do volunteer work on projects that promote conservation and ecology.
